I know i am way to late! I absolutely loved Mr. Havey. I worked for him. He was a nicest man in the world and when I quit, I had children and I called him and asked him if he´d like to go to lunch and he said yes. That shocked me and then Mr. Durkin Tom Durkin asked if he can join us I didn´t even know he knew I existed. We had so much fun that day at the Italian Village, but Mr. Haley was the very nicest boss I´ve ever had in my life. I´ll never forget him and I´m so sorry I missed his service. Love, Sheila, O´Keefe, and infelise! he always talked about his family his kids that was his life. God bless all of you and I´m so sorry I missed it.

So many fond memories of Tom, but the one memory Gale and I talk about all the time was at the 1981 Christmas party. Gale was pregnant with our third child and it was the day before St Nicholas Day. Although Gale was not technically due for another 10 days, Tom asked Gale if the baby was a boy would we name him Nicholas. Needless to say, Scott Nicholas was born the next day. Gale could never say no to Tom.

May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face;

The rain fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,

May God hold you in the palm of his hand"

My deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the entire Havey family. Mr. Havey was a dear friend and mentor to many, including to me. He was still keen to be involved in the business and events at Legacy and I am grateful for the many emails, conversations, and dinners, along with Michele and my daughter, we were able to share. They are cherished memories. May he rest in peace. He will be missed.

Tom lived an incredibly full life, and was well-accomplished. My memories from Beverly of he and Kay and their family are very pleasant ones. He also did a lot for the church, and may he rest in peace.

My condolences to the entire Havey family. I had the pleasure of working with Tom Havey for twenty-plus years having started at Thomas Havey & Co right out of college and subsequently being one of his partners. Tom was a great leader and mentor. He taught me how to work smart, take proper care of clients, and take the time to enjoy family and life as well. His influences helped shape the way I lead my own firm today, including leaving Chicago for the coldest of the winter months. He will be missed, but his influences and good memories not forgotten.

While I never met Tom he was a big part of my Tom´s life. He always talked about Tom Havey as taking him under his wing and introducing him to the world of business. He talked often of helping him out at 13-14 and what that mean to him. I am sorry for your loss and know Tom would have been as well. Best to the family.

Tom Havey will be remembered for his leadership in developing and growing Thomas W. Havey Co. CPA's. Many clients and employees pay tribute to him for his many years of service and personal mentoring. I will miss him and his caring attention to me growing up in the firm for 17 years, before his retirement. Our heartfelt condolences to his extensive family. Our prayers for a great man,
