Dear Maura:
I've thought of you often since Tom's funeral and hope that your getting along better. I'm sorry I didn't get to know Tom from what I understand he was a very kind man.
Thank you for sharing Thanksgiving last year with Bruce, Brian and Myself. You and Tom made it special. I hope to be seeing you again under much more happier times. Take care of yourself and take it slow.
Sincerely, Diane Bronis

Dear Maura:
I am so sorry about your loss. I wish we had been able to attend the services, but I'm in Burbank, California. I don't believe we ever met, but I'm Tom's first cousin, Laurel (Joan and the late George's daughter). I saw "Tommy" last at my Dad's funeral this past July. He was so upbeat about his medical problems and still had his great sense of humor. He had so many wonderful, funny stories to tell me about my Dad that truly consoled me. Yesterday, at the same time as the service was occuring in Chicago, I lit a candle for Tom in a Catholic church in California. He was a wonderful man and I'll miss him very much. I am sorry for your loss and hope your many happy memories will bring you comfort.

Dear Maura,
Jim and I were deeply saddened when we learned of Tom's untimely death. Unfortunately, we didn't see the obituary until it was too late to come to the visitation and funeral. We were both extremely shocked to hear of Tom's passing. Jim has known Tom the 1960's when Jim, Tom and Tom's brother Jim all rode their motorcycles together. Please accept our heartfelt condolences on your loss and know that you and your entire family our in our prayers. Take care and God bless.
Fondly,
Jim, Mary, Joe and Debbie Tresnak

Maura,
I just received a voice mail from a friend about Tom's passing. We are so very saddened. I am writing this message for myself and my former husband Jim Scott. We where dear friends of his brother Jimmy. My former knew Tom & Jimmy since they were kids in the 50's. As a teenager in love I have wonderful memories of spending many hours hanging out at T&C's station as that is where the boys were! After Jimmys death we lost touch with Tom as we lived in California. In 1996 my former (Jim Scott) had a stroke/brain bleed which left him disabled. I contacted a friend to help me reach Tom so I could tell him about Jim and ask if he would call Jim to cheer him up. Tom did not hesitate a second to make that call and even offered to help in any way he could. We will always remember him for this act of kindness and support to our family during those days of uncertainess. We only wish we had the chance to have returned that call.

Maura:
We are saddened to hear of Tom's passing and are sorry that we were unable to attend the services to express our condolences personally. I had known Tom since the late 70's when I met him through Rich Sherry and the TCA. He was always a most generous and interested person and we will miss him greatly.
Sincerely,
Bill and Wilma Morris

Dearest T.C.,
You must know how you will be missed. I think of the time you spent with Bill & I sailing on Unketchable so long ago--wonderful memories of a wonderful time. You will remain in the hearts of your friends always--thanks for being such a sweet and kind spirit.
Rest in peace,
Peggy
