Thomas Bulanda Obituary
77, passed away June 10, 2025 with his family at his side. Lifelong resident of the south side of Chicago-Bridgeport neighborhood, dearly beloved husband of the late Mary Elizabeth Bulanda, nee Grzenia, cherished father of Thomas T. (Aurora) Bulanda, Jr., Joseph J. (Jodi) Bulanda, and Annie (late Jon Rubich) Bulanda; proud and adored grandfather of Maci and like a grandfather to Brielle Matson; preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Marjorie Bulanda nee Daniels ; loving brother of Joseph Bulanda, Maryann Bulanda, Marge (late John) Ballay, and the late Nancy (Paul) Stepusin; also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Tom was a proud United States Vietnam Navy Veteran, and a dedicated employee of CSX Railroad for many years. He was a die-hard Chicago White Sox fan and enjoyed his occasional trips to the casinos and betting on the horses at the OTB.
Visitation will be held at McInerney Central Chapel,4635 S. Wallace St, Chicago, IL 60609 on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 3 p.m. until time of Funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Cremation will take place in accordance with his wishes. A private burial will take place at a later date at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Chicago.
