To the Family of Tom Begeske ID 454 car number 4-45.
I have very fond memories of sitting with Tom having coffee watching planes fly into Midway Airport listening to stories about how it was in the "old days". Tom had a very unique way of looking at life within the Illinois State Police which, we from the old Crestwood district have carried on. His honesty and his way of expressing the "cold truth", especially when dealing with the upper Command was refreshing and somewhat comical.
In our hearts he was and still is a true ISP legend! Many stories about Tom Begeske are STILL circulating some 13 years after his retirement. For those of us blessed enough to actually have worked with Tom, we know they are TRUE!
Rest in Peace Tom!

My deepest sympathy to you JoAnn, and also to your family. I learned about Tom's passing when I was reading an old newpaper at the Dentist office. Of course, I was shocked. I wish I would have learned of this sooner. I didn't know Tom was ill. I will call you.

Mr. "B",
How much you will be missed by the families on Crestview Drive. I will miss seeing you standing in your driveway or doing yard work as I would pull into Dad's, and I would get out of my car and I would say "Hey Mr. "B", and your response always was, "Hey Kid", maybe you called me that because you didn't know which Schroeder I was, or maybe you could never keep us straight.
The good times everyone had at your pool, when you were home and even when you were not. You will be missed Mr. "B", rest in Peace and keep an eye on Keith for us now.
My prayers on with you Mrs. "B", Jim and T.K.
Be Strong.
Love, Nanette Schroeder Paterson and Family
