Alex,
My sympathy to you and your family on the passing of your mom. I remember her fondly from my youth when she lived in Chicago. She was indeed a very gracious and kind person. Bob Lewin was correct about your dad chasing us kids away from the corner because of noise, but as I got older, I realized we WERE making too much noise. I will be remembering Teri in my prayers!

My name is Robert Lewin. My family lived at 1330 Cornelia and when I was a small child Alex used to walk me to St. Andrew school.
I wish to express my sympathy to the family on the loss of Mrs. Pontecore. I remember as a child we would play baseball on the corner of Lakewood and Cornelia and Mickey would chase us away because we made too much noise.
