Theodore Walsh Obituary
Ted served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from Occidental Chemical Corporation as an Account Executive after 40 years of service. He was a member of St. Bede Catholic Church and enjoyed membership with the Knights of Columbus for over 50 years. He was also an avid reader and patron of the Williamsburg Library. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, singing in the church choir, gardening, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Eleanor Walsh; children, Mary Beth Walsh, Kevin Walsh and his wife, J. Lauren Walsh, Brian Walsh and his wife, Cristina Walsh; and grandchildren, Victoria, Kristen, Danielle, Mamie, Riley, Nettie, and Zannah.
A funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, October 5 at St. Bede Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Road, Williamsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cleveland Catholic Charities, 1404 E. Ninth Street, 8th Floor, Cleveland, OH 44114-1722. Online condolences may be offered at www.nelsencares.com.

Dear Eleanor,
On behalf of all Ted’s brother Knights in the Fr. Rizer council, we offer up our prayers, rosaries, and indulgences for the repose of Theodore’s soul and ask our Blessed Mother’s intersession that her Son bring comfort to you and your family during this time of sorrow. Ted was a dedicated Knight of Columbus since 1961 and is fondly remembered for his fund raising efforts during our annual Yard Sale, where the funds went to help the poor and disadvantaged and other corporal works of mercy. Ted will be remembered at a Mass daily in the Knights of Columbus Chapel (St Mary’s Church) in Supreme Headquarters in New Haven Connecticut. He will also be remembered in a Memorial Mass for deceased Knights of Fr Riser Council this first Saturday in November at the 9am Mass at St Bede and every year thereafter. May our sweet Blessed Mother comfort you all now and at the hour of your deaths also.
