Sofios, Theodore E. beloved husband for 54 sweet years to the late Kirone Anne (nee Stratigos), loving father of Manny (Marie) Sofios, Joy (John) Maris, Toula (Robert) Stolle, Peter, George (Antigoni) and Christina (Frank) Sofios-Rubio, devoted son of the late Emmanuel and Theohary Sofios, proud grandfather of Nicholas, Manny, Anne, Gina, Paul, Teddy, Jimmy, Theodore, Karen and Michael, dear brother of Haritos (the late Sophia) in Australia, Peter (Marika) Sofios in Greece and the late Poletime (Jim) Komenos, Menas (Katina) and Christos Sofios, brother-in-law of Koula (Lakis) Gikas of Athens, Greece, Liberty (Othon) Poteres, William (Ann) Strategos and the late George (Angela) Stratigos, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Family and friends will meet Thursday morning at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, 5649 N. Sheridan Rd., Chicago, IL, 60660 for visitation from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to S.S. It was quite a shock to hear the news of your Father's passing away. He will be surely missed by all who have know him. He was a wonderful Father, Husband and a friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
