Thelma Davis Obituary
Thelma, 79, of Central Point, Ore., passed away Nov. 18, 2008, in Medford, Ore. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Nov. 24, 2008, at Hope Christian Fellowship, Central Point. A graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford. Officiating both services will be Dr. Aaron Veach.
Born April 7, 1929, in Glendale, Mo., to Ivan and Lela Vollnogel, Thelma moved from Missouri to the Rogue Valley in 1956. She worked for Harry & David for 19 years, until retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Medford Eagles Club for 20 years, and she loved all kinds of crafts and baking, volunteering and helping people, and very much enjoyed her grandchildren.
Thelma is survived by her sons, Gary Davis, of Medford, Larry Davis, and wife, Elizabeth, of El Paso, Texas, and William Davis, and wife, Leslie, of Maryville, Mo.; daughters, Shona Brooks and husband, Don, of Central Point, and Ilene Lockhart, and husband, Dave, of Reno, Nev., sisters, Phyllis Edwards, of Kansas City, Mo., and Helen Fern Sims, of Garden City, Mo.; brother, Charles Vollnogel, of Michigan; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

To the Davis family, I would like to wish my deepest sorry for your loss. I remember your mother back when she was a member of our extended family for awhile (Janice and Ardis). I have fond memories of her and those of you that I have the privilege of knowing.
