Thaddeus Jutkiewicz Obituary

Thaddeus S. Ted Jutkiewicz, 87, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston. He was the husband of the late Maria (Monty) Jutkiewicz. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Tadeusz & Stella (Bauer) Jutkiewicz. A resident of Boston for many years, he previously lived in Taunton before moving to Wareham in 1986. Mr. Jutkiewicz was an electronics engineer for Honeywell. He served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years from 1944 to 1965. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his son, Steven Jutkiewicz of Natick; his step-children, Charles Sweetman of Halifax, Albert Meranda of W. Roxbury, Vivian Meranda of Framingham and Linda Meranda of CA; his grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham from 9:00 to 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patricks Church, High St., Wareham at 11:00 AM.
