I'm so sorry to hear that my best friend growing up has passed. I'm Jim Giertych and my mother and father owned "Ellies food shop on the corner of Marquette ave. Terry and I were best friends growing up and he helped me many times closing up the store so we could go out to St.Joe's or Bowen to play fast pitch or go to Bessemer park to swim or in the winter to ice skate and he spent many week-ends with me and my parents on Paw Paw Lake in Mi. We lost tract of each other after Viet Nam. I can still remember going down the the street yelling " OH TERRY" and he would open the window and say I'LL be down in 5 min and we would go out and hang with Danny--Dago--Chicken Head-- Shoemaker and some of our other friends. I'm so sorry for your loss and my Brother from another mother.May he rest in peace !!!!
