Terry, my love of my life. You had my heart at softball. Only Kathy knows what I speak of. I had no idea. You pursued me....oh, so many memories. I love you still and miss you beyond words. I loved us when were together. Only you and I will ever know those moments and for that I will cherish you forever, Barnich. I am so very fortunate to have shared my life with you. You have made such an indelible mark. Again, I miss the smell of your cigars, watching PBS with you on Sunday evenings. I will never forget when we watched the God Father back to back on South Grand Avenue and Sweenie Todd. We had so much fun. And your amazing recipes, and the way you dress. Yes, I am going to say it..I love the way you look. And I have my tokens from your place on Wayne, my home away from home. Annie and Kathy...we talk about all the memories. May you rest in peace. You will always have my heart. Please take care of Michael and Frank. Love You Barnich, Forever!!!!

Terry:
It has been a year since you were taken from us...my how you are missed. I will never forget meeting you on my first day at the Governor's Office. I couldn't believe someone could drink coffee all day like you did. You always looked so handsome in your seersucker suits. Our family has so many wonderful memories of you, especially the ones at Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. It was never a dull moment when you were around. Our family was better because you were such a big part of it...you left such an imprint and we want you to know that we are keeping you alive by retelling all the stories over and over again when we are all together. We all laugh and cry when we know mom is making your Mozzarella Tart for dinner. We miss you! Here's to good wine, your good cooking, and your wonderful sense of humor. Rest in Peace...TLB 23.

Dear Genni, Rochelle and Bruce,
I have vivid warm childhood memories of playing baseball "catch" with Terry in our driveway there on Marquette Ave. in Hegewisch including the times our families spent together when we were all so much younger.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and those friends and family whom Terry so deeply touched.

Genni and family: Terry was such a big chapter of my life up until the day he died. He will always have my heart. He was also a big fan of my Mother and Sister. Genni, you must be very proud of your Son. I was. May the angels watch over you and your family at such a difficult time. You are in my prayers.

Terry was a 5th grade student in my class at Clay School in Chicago. He was an excellent student. I was not surprised to learn of his accomplishments and ideals during his all-too-short life. My condolences to his family.

My deepest condolences to the Barnich family over the loss of Terry. I had the pleasure of attending high school with him. I have a son in the military and understand how weak any words of mine can comfort you from your overwhelming grief. I pray that God leaves you with only cherished memories of your son, and pride in knowing that he served our country proudly.
