Teri Goudie Obituary

I am shocked and saddened to learn of Teri's passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I'm wishing you all healing and peace. I'm so sorry.

Very sorry to learn of Teri's passing, and we will keep her family in our prayers.

Dear Ellen and family... I worked with Teri and her mother, Ellen, in high school at Mr. Steak. We had so much fun! I loved her laugh! She was so very efficient and had a wonderful work ethic.

I remember TNT and she made us all guess her middle name!

Later, my mother cared for Teri´s children at Union Church. Mom would come home saying "Teri Goudie says this... and Teri Goudie says that..."

She was loved and admired.

As a loyal ABC viewer I learned of the loss of Chuck Goudie´s wife Teri in the Daily Herald yesterday 7/17. How very sad for Chuck and his children. What a beautiful young woman. The Goudie Family is sincerely in my prayers.

Teri was the absolute BEST media trainer out there- her expertise was unmatched yet she always asked about my kids and family every time she came to help us navigate sticky situations. I consider her a role model and mentor, and want her family to know how much she meant to so many of us at Dow AgroSciences.

She trained our Hotdogger class 7 years ago. So much of what she taught (in a half day) I still think about today. I´m sorry for the family´s loss.

Teri was an incredibly special, vibrant woman who positively impacted everyone she met. For me, she inspired me to continue running marathons, as I remember when we met she had already run 10. I loved learning about her business escapades, celebrating her children and grandchildren and when she'd come to my hot yoga classes. She will be dearly missed, but God must have needed her energy, brilliance and heart alongside him in heaven. Sending love and strength the whole family. Hopefully you will hear her voice and sage advice when you look up. Her legacy will shine brightly in each of you.

My sincere condolences to the Goudie family. Teri lit up every single room she walked into ... and built the confidence and careers of so many women, treating everyone with respect. The entire Abbott family will miss her tremendously.

Sincere condolences to the Goudie family. Teri was an extraordinary person that I had the privilege to learn from over 20 years. She will be greatly missed.

Hearing from a friend of my husband's regarding Teri´s passing threw me into shock.
I met Teri in the late 1970´s/early 1980´s at Channel 7 news station.
The minute we met and talked we became fast friends.
She was beautiful, funny and very intelligent. I learned a lot from her.
Part of our friendship was based on me helping her try to get Chuck to notice her!
I was her wing woman and it worked!
We went through hilarious times hunting down Chuck.
She told me that the minute she laid her beautiful blue eyes on him, she knew he was the man she wanted to marry.
So, as we all know, she did!
I was a bridesmaid at her wedding.
She beamed that beautiful smile throughout that day and night.
Truly, she was in love !
I´m so happy she had the love of her life to be with her throughout her life and during her illness.
To Chuck: I always admired you and Teri never spoke anything but love and respect for you.
I´m so sorry she is no longer in your life.
To the Children: Your mother loved you more than life.
She was so proud of all of you.

I am so very sad to hear about Teri´s passing. She was an incredibly vibrant, energetic, and smart woman. My deepest sympathy to the Goudie and Tausk families.

Teri was an extraordinary person and an amazing professional. I met her sixteen years ago and have enjoyed working with her throughout the years. She will be missed.
