T. McLysaght Obituary

McLysaght, T. Frank born April 13, 1927, in Graiguenamanagh County Kilkenny, Ireland. Frank passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2002, while in Ireland, he hurled for Dublin and won a gold medal in the 1945 All-Ireland Hurling Finals at Croke Park. After emigrating to the United States, Frank settled in Chicago and was very active in the Gaelic Athletic Association, playing for the Harry Boland's Hurling Club and founding the St. Vincent Hurling Club. Frank retired in 1993 after 30 years with Joyce Brothers Moving & Storage. Devoted husband of Jeannette (nee Krzton), loving father of Catherine Henry, Martin (Jennifer) McLysaght and Carol Ann McLysaght, proud grandfather of Caitlin, Kelly, Ryan and Kyle, dear brother of Margaret (Michael) Carey from Kilkenny, Ireland, Marion (Roy) Hinze of Austin, Texas and Joseph (Pearl) Lysaght of Devon, England, uncle of many nieces and nephews.
