Professor Daniels was my beloved teacher at the Loop College in the mid-1980s. As a foreign student, he skilfully and enthusiastically gave me, among others, the foundation to speak proper English. I think of him frequently. RIP Sir!

Mr D was phenomenal at his craft of teaching speech development and presentation. Equally, as a theater director, his engagement was nothing short of excellence. His passion for theater was infectious; anyone encountering his vision for any given play he directed, felt compelled to deliver his or her best. My personal experience lead me to do things, in theater that I would have never considered much less participated like perform on stage and become a director of my own theatrical production. I hold the highest respect for him and in his memory, I continue to find my voice on stage.

Mr D was the best of teachers, counselors, and bosses... He opened my mind to many possibilities, inspired commitment, and always offered encouragement and a keen eye. I was there at the start of LCT, and considered my 2 years in the Theatre Department at Loop as a vital component to my successes.

I worked with Sydney on many shows at the Loop College Theater in the 70's. He was my teacher, my director, my mentor and my friend. I have him to thank for my deep love and appreciation for the Theater and the best years of my life! I never became a Broadway Star but on his stage, under his direction I did feel like one! Thank you, Mr. Daniels, with love, Rest In Peace.
