There is a song, "This Little Light of Mine", which my Grandson, William, sang at his kindergarten graduation along with his class. This Little Light of Mine Let It Shine, Let It Shine. Sue exemplified this song with her smile and her twinkling Irish Eyes. She could light up a room and our lives, wherever she might be, and make a friend of a stranger. This world will be a darker, gloomier place without her.
Just to insure our rememberance of her smiling Irish Eyes, she would not allow any of her friends to visit her these past few weeks. We were not to see her smiling, twinkling Irish Eyes fade under the shadow of this devastating illness.
We have no choice but to remember her as she once was. Smiling, twinkling and full of love. So this Little Light of Hers will still light up our lives and Let it Shine, Let It Shine, Let It Shine.
