I was just reminded of Stuart Gordon from re-reading a diary of the visit we had with him and Jill on a cross-country RV trip we did in 2000. I remember him and Jill as very friendly, talented people and wonderful hosts and cooks. My husband Tom and I knew Stuart from our work as environmental consultants, where he served as an attorney on one or more cases we worked on. I got to know him as a very intelligent and capable attorney, and very professional and open-minded. We got along famously with him during the work and became friends, which led to our visiting him in his home territory in 2000. We are very sorry of his passing during the pandemic year(s) and wish the best to his family.

I was Stu Gordon's legal secretary for several years back in the 1980's. He was a wonderful man to work for and always made me laugh. At a very difficult time when I lost my own Mother, Stu was a true friend and he attended the service for her. Stu had a very funny "toothbrush" picture on his office wall and it made me think of how much he so loved his family. We shared many wonderful moments in working together and he often helped me in my daily struggles as a young wife and mother. My sincere sympathy to Jill and his darling children. I am hoping that his infectious smile and great humor will always be close to your hearts. May God bless you.

Stuart and I shared an office in the State's Attorney's Office for several years. He was terrific to work with and was a warm and caring human being. We became good friends and kept in touch over the years, although sadly less so over the last few years. Those who knew Stuart have many warm memories of him. My condolences to Jill and his family.

I met Stuart when I was a freshman at Wisconsin, when I pledged Phi Sigma Delta fraternity. It's an interesting thing in life how people gravitate to others in friendship, but not to all others equally. Stuart became one of my best friends. It meant much to me that Stuart and Jill were able to attend my daughter's wedding just over a year ago. Perhaps the best thing I can say is that I do not know anyone who disliked Stuart. Jill, Brad, Amanda, may his memory be for a blessing to you, and may you be comforted among all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
