Carolyn M. Heinrich nee Vilt, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Eugene Heinrich. Loving mother of Kathleen Heinrich (Christian Schreck). Dear grandma of Autumn and Arbor Schreck. Cherished sister of Joe (Joyce) Vilt, and the late Tom Vilt. Fond cousin and aunt to many. Cherished friend to countless others. Dedicated employee of the Chicago Board of Education for 47 years. Funeral Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 9:15 am from Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien to Divine Savior Church. Mass 10:00 am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Friday, March 27, 2026, 3:00 - 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, Catholic masses are preferred or donations to Cure SMA appreciated.
