Mills, Streby H. born in Memphis, TN on July 17, 1924, resided in Chicago, IL for the remainder of his life. Served in the US Army in WWII. Was employed by the US Postal Office and USS Steel. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, three brothers and his wife of 49 years, Bernice. And just recently his only sister Catherine Mills. He leaves to mourn his daughters Marsha Mills Coates, Gail Freeman, grandchildren Michael Mills, Nicole Blackledge, great-granddaughter Naomi, his Na Na, and a host of friends and family. Service will be held on Saturday, June 19th at 1 p.m. at Gatling's Funeral Home on 103rd & Halsted.

I am very sorry for the loss of this great man, Streby trained me back in 1989 when we both worked together at the Peoples Gas building, I always enjoyed his company and many stories. He will be missed.
