I had an honor to see Bobek in the last 5-6 years to be toghether with his LEGEND at the gatherings of old Macva football players and "Sapcani" meetings ever Saturday at different restaurants in Beograde when ever I was visitng. He was real gentlemen sportsman, had a strong character of a very dissent man.
Memory eternal and a place in Heaven

Though not a fan of the sport, I know Mr. Bobek was truly a legend. May God comfort his family and loved ones in this time of sorrow.

Stjepan was a legend, a scoring machine. As popular as Babe Ruth was in the US in his time. May the Lord embrace Mr Bobek in His arms and give his family true peace.
