Marlene and Kelly,
I just found out today about Steve and I am devestated. I have been cleaning his teeth 3-4 times a year for the past years and he always came in happy to see me and announced he was here for our"date". He always made me laugh. We talked about our families, he always asked about my husband and kids and always had a great time even though he claimed I would torture him!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you both and the rest of your family. I will miss seeing that smile of his as he walked into the office. If there is anything that I can do for your family pease let me know. He will never be forgotten.
With my deepest sympathy,
Shari Soverino from Dr.B's office

I am an Auditor from the Maywood Office as was Steve. We worked in the same unit together. Now each morning when I pass by his desk I can still see him in my minds eye sitting there working. He would look up and say FNO (that was a nick name
he made up for me,it meant former number one) good morning and give me his usual strong hand shake. When we did'nt have to go out and conduct an audit we always had lunch together and this started
about three years ago when Steve joined the Audit Unit. So I did get to know him very well. Our last day together Dec.14th.we did have lunch together (thank god)and he seemed very tired that day by his own admission. We went by Boston for the usual turkey sandwich and then by Dunkin Donuts (we called it Dunc-Duncs)we had a great discussion that final day. Then out of the blue he said lets go by Best Buy I need a radio for my desk. He purchased one and it had a CD player. He was like a little kid setting it up on his desk going over the instructions and kept saying hey FNO my radio is better than yours. He was looking forward to playing cd's on it that coming Monday. I said even though I was going to be on Vacation next week that I would drop by on Monday Dec.17th.with some of my home made CD's but that did'nt happen. I really really miss him so very much.He made my days fun. We used to make fun of each other. Steve was a good friend and he will be missed by all of the people that made contact with him.
With Sympathy

To The Zybak Family:
I am very sorry for your loss. Steve was a wonderful co-worker and friend. On the Friday before he passed, I was really sad and he put his arm around me and asked me was I OK. There are really few genuinely kind people and Steve was one of them. He will be truly missed.
