Last Time I Spoke To Steve Was A Year Ago. I Wrote On His Fb Wall " I Love & Miss You Stevie!!" Next Thing I Heard Was,My Phone Ringing...Stevie Calling Me To Say " I So Needed Right Now!!" And We Talked For Sometime That Day. I'm Truly Blessed To Have Met You & To Have Great Memories Of Us Living In The Projects As Kids. May You Rest In Peace My Dear Friend. And I'll See You On The Other Side. I LOVE YOU STEVIE!!!!!

Steve was one of my good friends he help me out when I was hurt and I have never had a better person I could talk to he was the best person I knew and I can't wait to see him again one day we all love you steve-o always and forever

Philip & Marie Lilja were good friends of Steve's here in Monticello. We are missing him so much and want to let all know back in Chicago that he was loved by many out here. I am honored to believe myself a friend of Stevie's, having known him and the family since we all resided together in Trumball Park. He was a boisterous youth, went through some difficulties, and then found himself and joy in life in recent years. His energy and humour will be sadly missed by all knew and loved him. G.O.D. does not call the qualified, he Qualifies the called. Peace and prayers are offered for his family and friends.

My heart is saddened by Steve's untimely death. He is indeed special. May Our Lord in his infinite wisdom welcome him home with open arms. May he be at peace now and watch over us all now. May God Bless his Mom and grant her peace at this time as well as Nancy and Julie and his entire family.
