Bachar, Steve M. beloved husband of Eleanor (nee Vesely), loving father of Leslie (Patricia) and Russell (Rita), devoted grandfather of Robyn, Jason and Michael, brother of the late George (Jacqueline) Bachar and Anne (Harold) Buchholz, uncle of many nieces and nephews. Services and interment private. Served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a Master Sargeant. Donations to Galewood Community Church, 1776 N. Dear Eleanor,
I will always remember Steve sitting in the last row of the church, with his right elbow perched on the raised side of the pew, wonderfully groomed and always extending a warm handshake and greeting. He was a treasure and an ambassador of God's good will.
