The first Father's Day without my dad (2009). A sad day, but knowing his love for trains, we (Bridget, Jody and I) rode the Georgetown Loop Rail Line in Colorado on Sunday, offering the trip up to dad in his memory. I am sure he loved the ride, I could feel him by my side. A wish, a thought, and a hope that the other side is as it is made out to be, for he deserves nothing less. A train ride in the mountains, I knew no better way!

I met Mr. Miller many years ago when I visited his daughter, Mary, during a school break. I clearly remember him telling us not to waste the entire day by sleeping! He impressed upon me at a relatively young age to get busy living.

We have lived across the street from Steve and Mary for 25 years. They were such nice neighbors. Steve's passing will leave a hole in the community - he will be missed. Our deepest sympathy to Mary and her family.

We will miss his smiling face, watching the kids play on our street. God bless your family!

My condolences to all of Stephen Miller's family. I know his brother Frank's daughter Susan Miller and we both wish our best to all of Stephen's family. As Shakespeare said... "He's with God now. He was too good for us."
