Beloved husband of Mary Ellen (nee Kelly, Bruner); Loving father of Michael Kalchbrenner, Amy Stevens, and Kevin (Erin) Kalchbrenner; Dear step-father of Kelly (Tom) Adair and Mark (Julie) Bruner; Proud grandpa of Ella and Matthew Kalchbrenner, Brodie and Cailin Stevens, Kevin, Brendan, Aiden, and Ryan Kalchbrenner, Tracey Anzar, and Aubrey Bruner; Cherished great- grandpa of Aiden and Nathan Anzar; Devoted brother of Bill (late Joyce) Kalchbrenner; Dear brother-in-law of Nancy (late Bill) O'Brien; Fond uncle, friend, and neighbor to many. Family and friends will meet directly at Sacred Heart Church, 8245 W. 111 th St., Palos Hills Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. for a Memorial Mass. Interment Private.
