Maurizi, Stephen V. Deputy C.C.S.D., age 51, in God's care on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015. Beloved son of Joan R. and the late Dr. Dino G. Maurizi, M.D.; loving brother of Cmdr. Michael G. M.D., U.S.M.C. (Tina), Lisa, Stacey (Mike) Hennigan, Joan (José) Colón, and the late Dino W. Maurizi; fun-loving "Uncle Steve" of Anna, Claire, Teresa, Chrissy, Jorie, Patrick, Gabriella, Samuel, Carmen, and Isabel. Steve was an Alumnus of Christ the King Grammar School and Leo H.S. Steve earned his Associate Degree in Business from Daley College, was a Graduate of the Cook County Sheriff Court Services Academy, and received his Illinois Certification as a Cook County Sheriff's Deputy. Family and friends will gather at Christ the King Church, 9235 S. Hamilton Ave., Chicago, IL 60643 on Sunday for visitation 3:00-9:00 p.m. and Monday morning 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Private Interment Assumption Cemetery in Glenwood.
