Steve was a very sweet and funny man.
There was something so real and human about him. We had lots of good times playing gigs in the eighties. I’ll always thank him for getting me working when I came out to LA. He and his spirit will be missed.

I have only the fondest of memories of
my dear friend Steve. From the first
project we worked on together I knew
I had found not only a talented musician
but a great friend. He was ever giving,
ever kind, and a beautiful man. I mark
myself richer and blessed by having him
be apart of my life. Thanks for the memories Steve. I love you my brother.

I was saddened to hear of Steve's passing a few days ago from a mutual friend. Shocked is a better word for it. Although I haven't seen him in a while, the memories I have of him are very positive. He carried with him a great sense of humor along with that incredible passion for music. My condolences to his family and friends. The world misses a good egg.

There are vivid memories in the hearts of the Kolman family when Stephen was a young man. We all witnessed his passion for the drums. We were so proud to hear of his accomplishments as a professional. Through Lisa and Michael we kept up with much of his life. He will be missed and remembered by so many.
