Stephen Klong Obituary

I played in a musical project with Steve, and I remember him as totally professional, inspirational, smart, friendly, helpful, and funny. I'll always remember him.

Steve will always remain a light in my life. My heart is with him as a sweet thread of my lifes journey. Steve our memories live on. Nancy

I just now am learing of his passing. It has been many years since I saw him- but his spirit has been w/ me all these years. He was an amazing man. I am so sorry for your loss. He was truly gifted.

Steve was a very sweet and funny man.
There was something so real and human about him. We had lots of good times playing gigs in the eighties. I’ll always thank him for getting me working when I came out to LA. He and his spirit will be missed.

What a great human he was. I will remember him only with a smile. He warmed my heart and enchanted my mind.

I was saddened to hear of Steve's passing a few days ago from a mutual friend. Shocked is a better word for it. Although I haven't seen him in a while, the memories I have of him are very positive. He carried with him a great sense of humor along with that incredible passion for music. My condolences to his family and friends. The world misses a good egg.

steve was such a wonderful soul....a loving, kind human being with a heart of gold and a will to survive his illness.....i was inspired by steve and his strength and his ability to stay focused on LIFE....he and I were only friends the last couple of years but he will always be remembered and I will share his stories of courage with anyone who needs to be inspired or uplifted...sending out my deepest sympathy to his family and jeanne fay and her family...he will be missed for sure...

There are vivid memories in the hearts of the Kolman family when Stephen was a young man. We all witnessed his passion for the drums. We were so proud to hear of his accomplishments as a professional. Through Lisa and Michael we kept up with much of his life. He will be missed and remembered by so many.
