To The Bybee Family
Chief Bybee was an incredible human being who left his imprint on all who had the privilege of meeting him. He was a man of integrity and morals who was always willing to help others even if it meant inconveniencing himself. It was an honor to have met and worked with him. My condolences to all.

I had the honor of working with Chief Bybee at the CTA for many years. He took me under his wing and was an amazing mentor. He was truly one of the best people I have ever met in my life. There will never be anyone like him.
My heart is broken. I will forever love and miss you Chief.

Dear Kathy and Billy! Steve was a good friend of mine going back to the days of driving the meat trucks and then being my boss on the Fire Department. He was truly loved by everyone and he always helped anyone that needed any help. Please accept our sincere condolences. As you know I am in rehab with a broken hip. Jimmy and Yvette Sutera

Steve was such a wonderful person. He was great friends with my grandfather Jerry Wesen. I would not be on CFD if it wasn´t for his encouragement and help. Any test I take or promotion I get I always think of Steve and thank him for the opportunity he gave me. He will forever be in my families heart. Prayers to his entire family.
