Stella Posacki Obituary

Sr. Stella Posacki, SSJ-TOSF (Pulcheria), beloved member of the Sisters of St. Joseph, TOSF for 69 years. Entered Eternal Life on July 25, 2003, at age 88. The loving daughter of Lottie (Godlewski) and Casimer Posacki, now deceased and sister of Mary, Rose, Andrew, Anna, Stanley and Frank, all deceased. She is survived by her sister Jean Szczesniak and many nieces and nephews. Sister will be remembered for her teaching expertise in Wisconsin, Indiana, Nebraska and particularly in the Archdiocese of Chicago where she taught at the now closed St. Fidelis, St. Roman Schools and at Transfiguration, St. Mary of Czestochowa, St. Mary of Perpetual Help and the Bartlett Learning Center. On July 27th friends will be received from 3:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Immaculate Congregational Home, 801 W. Bartlett Road, Bartlett, IL (1/2 mile east of Rt. 59 & west Bartlett Rd.). The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, July 28, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. at the convent chapel in Bartlett. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
