Starr Pitsch Obituary

Pitsch, Starr

Beloved wife of the late David Pitsch, devoted mother of David (Laura) Pitsch and Shannon (James) Cartales, and cherished grandmother of McKinley and Quinn Pitsch, and Anderson and Avery Cartales. Loving sister of Evonne Anderson (late Richard Vorwerk). Preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Shirley Anderson.

Born in Riverside, IL, Starr was a graduate of Trinity High School and earned her degree in communications from Northern Illinois University. She dedicated her life to her family, always present with unwavering support and love. Whether watching her family at sporting events, playing tennis with her friends, or serving her local community, she brought warmth, thoughtfulness, and generosity to those around her. She also had a unique talent for fashion and shopping, which benefited all those around her personally and professionally -always finding the perfect gift or touch to brighten someone's day.

A small service will be held in Oak Brook later this spring. For those who wish to honor Starr's memory, please reach out to the family directly. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northern Illinois University Huskie Athletic Fund.
