My dad, Rich Szczepaniak, was Stash's best friend for years. They grew up together in the old neighborhood--my dad on Racine Avenue. My dad and Stash were so close in their 20's, and they spend so much time together
that my mom used to get mad and tell my dad that he should have married Stash! My sister Patty and I remember Stash as a quiet, good, steadfast friend of my Dad's, and we always like him so much! He was my Dad's best man at my parent's wedding on 11/18/51. Rest in peace Stash. You will not be forgotten.
