Stanley, your were/ are the Greatest. I will miss you. It was always wonderful to walk out of my house, see your smiling face and have a fun conversation with you. You and Evelyn have been the Greatest neighbors for forty plus years. A big part of our Block is gone. I'll miss you.

This is what my dearest brother Stash would say:
I guess I have to say goodbye
I know it's time for me to fly.
Don't cry for me or shed a tear.
For though I leave, I'm always near.
And surely we will meet again
So carry on, but until then,
Just look for me inside your heart
A place from which, I'll never part.
You'll find me in your memories
And feel me in a gentle breeze
You'll see me in your children's face
And touch me as you all embrace.
Don't cry for me, but celebrate.
For I am in a better state.
Just smile, for it was quite a ride;
But now it's time to leave your side.

To the Golaszewski Family, please accept my heartfelt condolences in Mr. G's passing. I grew up and went to school with Rick, and Mr. G would drive us to our basketball and football games for St. Francis in LaGrange. I will always remember his humor, candor and continuous smile!
Yours sincerely.

We will miss you Uncle Stanley! You and Auntie were always trying to get the entire family together. I remember those special Christmas Eve gatherings on N. Peck. There were so many of us. You mean the world to me and you will be with your brothers and parents once again. May you golf for eternity! The Golaszewski Family rules!

Brother, father figure, friend, best of the best, Stash and his loving wife Evelyn were always present at any significant event in the Golaszewski family. "Love one another, as I have loved you" is the premise that Stan lived by. We can all attest to his loving and carin nature. One could not ask for a better sibling. He laughed, cried, rejoiced and suffered with his family, brothers and sister. We'll miss you, Stasiu, but know you will keep our place warm until we gather together once again. Love you, brother!
