Levinson, Sol L. 94, of Lincolnwood, beloved husband of Lorraine Levinson (nee Levey), loving father of Rick (Margaret) Levinson, devoted grandfather of Adam Levinson, dear brother of the late Hy (Muriel) Levinson, Gladys (late Al) Leavitt, and Marvin Levinson, dear brother-in-law of Harriet Burnes and the late Shirlee Udell. Graveside services Thursday, 1:00 p.m. at Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 N. Ravenswood, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, 2200 E. Devon Ave., Suite 351, Des Plaines, IL 60018-4509. Weinstein Funeral Home North Shore Chapel handling arrangements. Info 847-256-5700

To the Levinson Family,
We were so sorry to hear of the passing of your father and grandfather. Although I only met him a few times, he left a tremendous impression as a man of great character. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you at this very trying time. May his 94 years provide you with lasting memories and allow you to celebrate his wonderful life.

I will always remember Sol as a very "Funny Guy." He was truly a born salesman and the "Original Tin-Man" going back to his days at Clark Home Improvements. I always enjoyed his sense of humor and quick wit. He will be missed by all who knew him. I know that Rick will always have fond memories of him as his father and "Great Friend".
