Slobodan Petrovic Obituary

Petrovic, Slobodan Lepi moj ... faithful, supportive husband to Julijana Petrovic (nee Protic) for 42 years. Honorable. Hard-working. Loving and loyal father to son, Predrag "Page," and to daughter, Danica. Kind and generous father-in-law to Shannon Petrovic and Gaetano Gianni, grandfather to Alexander, Zachary, Alanna, Gabriella, and Antonio. Born in Valjevo, Serbia. Spent over 35 years in Chicago, Illinois. Greatly admired and respected by many and was the life of the party with his great storytelling. Handsome (although he never knew it) and charismatic, we will always remember his signature smell of Chanel cologne. Although he lived in Chicago for most of his adult life, he is remembered and loved by many back home. In Serbia, he is survived by his niece and nephew, Aleksandra Matovic and Aleksandar Petrovic. His wish is to be buried in Valjevo and plans will be made for this at a later date.
