Mr. Patt and family - I just heard the news of Mrs. Patt´s passing. I am so sorry for your loss. What wonderful memories I have of Mrs Patt during my grammar school days at St. James! She was a patient and thoughtful Girl Scout leader that always made our outings fun. She was a prolific baker of Christmas cookies. I still bake her recipe for Almond crescents! But most of all, I remember going to the Cubs games with the Patt family, especially Ken Holtzman´s no hitter in 1969. Mrs. Patt made an ingrained impact on my life; love of family and friends, and love of life. I know you will all miss her terribly. Take comfort in the memories you have. God bless you all!

Auntie Shirley had the most infecious laugh. It was a great laugh. Uncle Joe laughed, her family and sisters chuckled. I remember Auntie Judy (sister) couldnt stop laughing. Shirley Patt will be missed. Rest in Peace.

This obituary so beautifully captures the wonderful woman Shirley was. As sad as I am for her loss from our earth, I know in my heart that heaven is a more happier and well-fed place. My memories of her will forever grace my life, and those of others she touched. Our world needs more just like her at this time. Love you Mom Patt.

Mr Patt, Bobbie, Debbie and family, So sorry for your loss. I´ll always think of Mrs. Patt´s wonderful, infectious laugh! And the swimming pool and listening to the Cubs on the radio in the backyard. Please accept my deepest sympathies. May God hold her in the palm of his hand.

I think of Shirley always laughing... horsing around with Joe. A sweet cousin, with a beautiful family, she made life brighter for everyone! Shine now in heaven, dear Shirley!
