Dolezal, Shirley Ann

Shirley Ann Dolezal, 84, of Stickney passed on Thursday, July 22, 2021. She was born August 2, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Otto and Agnes Vana. She is proceeded in death by her husband James Frank Dolezal. They married August 14, 1954 and celebrated 66 years together.

Shirley is survived by her children Debra (Robert) Piper, Shirlee (the late George) Kadlec, and James Dolezal. She was a cherished grandmother to James and Jerry Podgorski, Michelle Piper, Liana (David) Garcia, George Kadlec and James Dolezal. Dear great-grandmother to Elliana, Julian, and the late David Jr.

A visitation for Shirley will be held on Friday, July 30, 4pm-8pm at Mount Auburn Funeral Home (4101 S. Oak Park Ave. Stickney, IL 60402.) A funeral service will take place the following day, Saturday, July 31st beginning at 10am. Burial to follow at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
