Shelley Sax-Eldridge Obituary
Shelley Sax-Eldridge 70, of Huntley, IL passed away peacefully July 10, 2023 at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington, II. She was born October 8, 19S2 to Bernard and Gloria (nee Lerner) Sax. Shelley grew up in Rock Island, II, and she lived in the Chicago land area and Santa Clara, CA.
Shelley began her career working for four buyers in the furniture department at Montgomery Ward. As she started developing her organizational skills, management took notice and moved her up the company ladder. In 1979 a friend told her about an opening for an executive assistant at a Stern pinball company. She always wondered where those things came from. Shewent on the interview, accepted the job on the spot and the rest is history. She wore many hats, serving as a receptionist, purchasing clerk, bookkeeper, traffic manager, personnel manager, office manager, and administrative assistant. The title on her business card was lovingly changed to JOAT (Jack Of All Trades) and never changed during her time at Stern pinball.
Shelley is survived by her loving husband Larry Eldridge, brother and sister in law Steve and Dianne Sax and her niece Misty Sax.

A celebration of life will be held Monday July 24, 2023 from S:00 to 8:00 pm with a 6:00 pm service at Mikerphone Brewery 121 Garlisch Dr., Elk Grove Village, IL 60007.

I am so very shocked and saddened to hear this news. I just heard of Shelley's passing. I worked with her as a logistics rep for over 15 years before I transitioned to a different position and lost track of her. She was a pleasure to work with. Her loss is immeasurable. My condolences, and prayers for her family and friends.
