I am the sister of Janie Boyett Burger, Howard's late wife. We came to know and love "Sandy" during Janie's lengthy illness and death seven years ago. We stayed in touch via e-mail. She was always so good to ask about our Mother who died on November 20th. Sandy was a sweet, beautiful, wonderful lady. My brother and I and our families received a blessing by being allowed to know her and James. Our prayers are with you, we can surely emphathize with you during this holiday season. Dawn, I remember your Mother from when you were in my third grade class at THE. She brought refreshments to your class to thank them for their help after you all had lost your home to fire.

just talking to you the few times i did get to and then just here lately you saying to me that i had become your new friend so lifted me up and your words so encourged me in my faith during all these times of illness in my own life. may you forever rest now in the rest of god's arms of love. these words are to you my new found friend.
