Dear Nora, Eileen, Sean and Ryan,
I just this minute heard of your mom's death and was so shocked. She phoned me last spring, inviting me to come to Wisconsin for a visit. All the Hansons send you condolences and prayers. Now, Sheila is joyfully reunited with your Dad. Your lives will be gifts to both of them.

Eileen, Sean, and Ryan,

Mom was our life, our everything. She missed Dad so much, and her little heart was carrying all that pain, it couldn't bear it anymore. She knew that she left us with each other and the incredible love that she gave to us, she made sure we had for each other. I was so proud of you all this weekend. In the words of "Someday soon"- "keep holding on to the love that has made you strong and someday soon heartache will all be gone" "keep holding on to the love that has brought you here and someday soon darkness will disappear" There is no word to describe Mom and there never will be, but she gave each of us something irreplacable and we will have each other to remind us of every good thing about her and dad. You three are my best friends and I love and admire each of you. We love you Mom and Dad- you both are the BEST!

My condolences to the Slattery Family. I knew Sheila from the Norwood Park neighborhood in the 80's. My youngest daughter, Teresa, went to kindergarten with Nora at Onahan elementary school. I enjoyed talking to her so much because she was so down to earth and friendly. We both had 4 children so we had things in common. I'm sure she is having a great time in heaven with everyone! I will keep you in my prayers.

Sincerely,

Gayle Goldstein

I just want to extend my deepest sympathies to Sheila's family. I was very fortunate to have taught in the same school with her. She would often share wonderful stories of her own children. She will be missed greatly.
