My late wife Peggy always enjoyed my coming home when I had spent time in Seymour's office. Others might have said your clothes smell of tobacco smoke but Peggy enjoyed it because it reminded her of her dad's cigar smoke. The greeting at home would be "you were in Seymour's office today".
Seymour was the peacemaker in the Holleb family that I knew. He could be stern but cheerful. I missed him when he retired. I miss him now.

This poem by Francisco de Quevedo I send along with my sincere thoughts and sympathy for the entire family:
LOVE CONSTANT BEYOND DEATH
The final shadow may close my eyes,
carry me off from white of day,
unchaining my soul at the hour
of its anxious obsequious desire:
but it will not leave the memory
of that other shore where once it burned,
for my fire can swim me through the frigid water, regardless of the strictures of law.
A soul once imprisoned an entire God,
veins that brought fuel to such flames,
marrow that so gloriously burned:
they'll leave this body, but not its cares;
ash they'll be, yet still aware;
they will be dust, but dust in love.

Even though we knew this day would come, Roberta and I were shocked and saddened. Our hearts and thoughts are with all of you. We can only guess how bad you must feel.Seymour and I were very close for many years and though we have not been close for a while we will always remember our fond relationship.
Love to all.

Seymour was the "nicest man" I had the pleasure of working for. What a "gentleman"! Sincere wishes of condolences to all his loved ones.

I proud to say I was an enployee of the Holleb family for many years both on Western Avenue and in Bensenville. Seymour was a terrific guy and will be missed by not only me, but by everyone that touched his life. My prayers are with him and his entire family.
