Barbara, Joanie and Marla, my condolences on the passing of your father. I will always remember Seymour with a smile on his face. I used to see him at the JCC or in front of the house on Cleveland and he always had something wonderful to say about his children and grandchildren. He was so proud of his family. May your memories be a comfort to all of you.

I have so many fond memories - Uncle Seymour - you had a wicked sense of humor and such a unique way of putting everything into perspective. I remember looking forward to stopping in Skokie to visit Uncle Seymour and Aunt Jean on the way to or from travels out west. A force of nature. We will miss you forever.

It's difficult to imagine the loss of Seymour Greenspan. He was such a force, such a character, that it's hard to imagine a world without him. You could talk to him about anything because he seemed interested in everything. But mostly, I loved his wit and way of making the funny, sarcastic comment that was unforgettable. He was a major presence in my childhood, and my heart goes out to Joan and her family. Love to you all.
