Jacobs, Selma M. beloved wife of the late Irwin, dear mother of David (Beri) and Edward (Joy), loving grandmother of Ian, Lauren, Sean and Zachary, fond sister of Harriet "Hendy" (Michael) Palmer, the late Ralph and Lillian Margolis. Services Friday, 10 a.m. at The Piser Chapel, 9200 Skokie, Blvd., Skokie. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jewish United Fund, 1 S. Franklin St., Chicago, IL, 60606. Info., 847-679-4740.

Selma-a sweet person, always with a smile. My mom, Esther, has really enjoyed her company these past 2 years at Gidwitz and we are all so sorry to hear of her passing. We will keep your family in our prayers.

Irwin, David, Ed and family: Edie and I express our deepest condolences on Selma's passing. While at Bnai Emunah she was always a supporter of our youth programs and a person one could always approach for advice. I felt blessed that I also had numerous opportunities to visit with her at Gidwitz. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
