Scott Holmberg Obituary
Scott Holmberg, age 70, of Chicago's Andersonville Neighborhood, passed away June 9, 2021. Beloved son of Mary Frances and the late Benjamin Holmberg; dear brother of the late Jim Holmberg; cherished father of Yvette (David) Petit; devoted grandfather of Timothy Walsh, Jacob Petit, and Janie Petit; adored great-grandfather of Billy, Timothy Jr., and Gabriel Walsh; fond uncle of Robin Holmberg, Kristie (Reyes) Montemayor, and Tracee Wilson. Visitation Tuesday, June 15, 3-7 p.m. at Drake & Son Funeral Home 5303 N. Western Ave. Chicago. Final Prayers at funeral home Wednesday, June 16, 10 a.m. Mass of Resurrection Wednesday, June 16, 11 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church 5545 N. Paulina St., Chicago. Private Inurnment to be at a later date at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Evanston. In lieu of flowers donations to Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org are appreciated.
