Madeline Rose Schneider of Lake Forest died March 16, 2026, following an intracerebral hemorrhage. She was 74 years old.

Madeline was born September 21, 1951, in Bayside, Queens, New York, to Dr. Milton Schneider and Mrs. Frances Finkelstein Schneider who instilled in her a commitment to integrity and a love of art.

Madeline received a BS in occupational therapy and an MBA from the University of Kansas, becoming a CPA in 1984. She worked in public accounting for Ernst & Young in Kansas City, then as a Tax Director at Sprint in Kansas City and later Brunswick in Lake Forest. Madeline was an active member of the Tax Executives Institute for decades, holding several leadership positions including president of the Chicago Chapter in 2013. After retiring from Brunswick in 2019, Madeline was as busy as ever "getting her degree in PE" at the fitness center, going to the theater, overseeing home projects, and constantly showing her family and friends how much she loved them.

Surviving Madeline are her husband, Jay Miller; her children, Taylor Miller and Martin Miller (Rezvan Shahoei); and siblings, Daniel Schneider (Jamie Edlin) and Dr. Elizabeth Rednor (Jordan).

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 p.m., all at Wenban Funeral Home Ltd., 320 Vine Avenue, Lake Forest, Illinois. A memorial reception will follow at Francesca's Intimo, 293 E Illinois Rd, Lake Forest, Illinois.
