Sarah Cason Obituary

Vidalia - Mrs. Sarah Lou Dugger Cason, 86, died early Thursday in the Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia, Ga. The Lakeland, Ga. native lived most of her life in Bulloch County. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and enjoyed gardening, bird watching and fishing. Mrs. Cason was preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Cason, Sr., two sons James Cason and Dennis Cason, three brothers, Ferrell Dugger, Mark Dugger, and Tom Dugger. Surviving are one son, The Reverend Canon Charles E. Cason Jr. and his wife Joan of Oshkosh, Wis.; a daughter-in-law Judye Cason Coggins and her husband Andy Coggins of Niceville, Fla.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Esteese and Kimball Dugger and Durwood and Correne Dugger; two sisters-in-law, Ruth McCall Dugger and Evelyn Mason Dugger; seven grandchildren; Chad Cason and his wife Susan of Berlin, Wis., Kathy Treichel and her husband David Treichel, Leslie Williamson and her husband Duane of Cullman, Ala., Kimberly Emerson and her husband Paul of Murphy, Texas, Connie Cason of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; and Mary Beth Long and her husband Bruce of Newport News, Va.; seven great-grandchildren, Megan and Allen Treichel, Samuel and Zachary Cason, Graham Williamson, Kathryn and Joseph Emerson. Visitation: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, at Trinity Episcopal Church. Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 21 at Trinity Episopal Church with The Rev. Joan Kilian officiating. The Rev. Ron Southerland will preach. Burial: Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. .Remembrances: Trinity Episcopal Church, 4401 Country Club Rd., Statesboro, GA. 30458.
