Dear Amy and Tommy,
I was so very sorry to hear about your mom's passing. She was a big influence in my life, introducing me to Theraplay so many years ago and starting me in the direction of a new career. She was always supportive and encouraging, smiling, but also telling it "how it is." She stood up for what she believed in and made people listen. She was a brave woman.
Your family has been through so much. My heart goes out to you both.

Dearest Family,
It has been many years since being in the presence of this remarkable person, we still feel the love Sally showed to us and our son Jerry.
There is not a day that passes that the name of SALLY does not come up in our conversations.
Where would we be today if not for Sally.
Sally taught us to trust ourselves in the treatment of our son.
Sally even in her adversities showed us courage and love.
Sally called me in the last remaining weeks, and all she talked about were Amy and Tommy.
She loved you very much.
We loved and respected her......
Peace to you.
Dorothy and George and Jerry Kopicki

Sally was my sons' speech pathologist for several years. I instantly respected and trusted her advice and insight. She was truly a gifted, loving person and seemed to make a difference in their lives immediately. I don't know what I would have done without her guidance. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I met Sally at a church retreat in Lake Geneva, Wis., about 18 months ago, and we quickly bonded and became great friends. She was a beautiful person and I will miss her very much. The remarkable thing about Sally was that even though she suffered a lot of adversity in her life, she met it with great courage and a wonderful sense of humor. I held her in great respect and awe. Sally, you helped show me how to be a better human being. Thank you.

Dear Sally and Tommy,
Your mom was a wonderful mentor and teacher - I met her when I was such a young teacher, and she taught me so much over the years I worked with her. I'm sure you will miss her greatly - you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Our deepest sympathies to the family of Sally. She touched so many lives and made this world a better place. No words could express the gratitude that we feel toward this woman. She will live on forever. I pray that She is looking down at Us all, and glowing from all the love and gratitude that we feel for her. I wish I could hug her one more time and say "Thanks"

I met Sally October 1, 1966 which was the day I started at Charles F. Read. We became instant friends and maintained a close friendship until the mid 90's when our lives merely went in separate ways.
Sally, Tom, her children and my husband, who is also deceased, and my daughter spent wonderful Thanksgivings together as well as many other days.
Sally will be very missed. Her's is a life untimely taken.

Dear Family,
I never met Sarah but, I met her beautiful daughter Amy. I had the priveldge of being Amy's Boss while in Minnesota. Amy must be a reflection of her mother, Warm caring and full of smiles. Our world will be a little empty with out her but the angels sure are lucky to have her back under their wings. May Sarah live on thru her family and the memories of others.
My prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
Patricia Moore

My husband, Walton, and I had the honor of knowing Sally because of her taking our daughter, Susan Coccia, under her wing. Sally was such a special person, even though we only got to meet her just a little over a year ago. Our daughter, Susan, has lost a very dear friend and co-writer. Amy and Tommy, we are so sorry for your loss; your Mom was a "one of a kind" lady. I can still hear her laugh and see her running around getting Susan's wedding flowers done. Seymour, I know your heart is breaking too. May God hold each one of you in his arms.

Dear Family, Sally was my very first supervisor after graduate school at the Charles F. Read Zone Center from 1965-1970. We had a small team of speech pathologists who were also friends. We went to one another's weddings. I will always remember her smile and warm friendly manner, and I am saddened for all of you for your loss.
