Sandra Gamer, nee Stupner, 86, beloved wife of the late Robert "Bob"; loving mother of Howard (Shari), Michael (Carmen) and Susan (Paul) Kozak; cherished grandmother of Carly (Alex), Jill (Steve), Mallory (Joey), Max, Nicholas, Jake and Diana; adored great grandmother of William, Nolan, Hannah, Abby and Penny; devoted daughter of the late Harry and Matilda; treasured aunt of Andi (Gary) Stutland and Marty Boroff; dear sister of the late Ethel (Babe) Boroff; wonderful friend to many. Graveside service 1 PM Friday at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (give.bcrf.org). I am sending my deepest condolences to the Gamer family. Sandy and I met when we were six years old. I am proud to say that we remained extremely close for 80 years. It saddens me so much that I lost my dearest friend Sandy and my wonderful husband Ronnie within a month of each other. So many memories with Sandy and Bob, Ron and I. Sandy, I will think about you every day and cherish the great times and many conversations we had for eight decades. Thank you Sandy for always being there to support me. I will love you forever!
