Dear Mrs Zweig, Ellen and Janet,

Sam lives on in our Hearts and our Memory - we fondly remember the Happy Times, Intense Conversations, Travel Experiences and Meetings shared with Sam over the last 20 years! Sam is our Mentor, Dear Friend and Inspiration. We admire and respect Sam for his Kindness, Knowledge, Clarity of Direction and Purpose, His Energy and Wit.

We remember and talk often about his many discussion and meeting with us. On his last visit in February 2001, he suggested we read the book "Friday with Murphy" which we promptly did. It says a lot of Sam.

We are compiling all the pictures and a synopsis of our Friendship with Sam from the time we met in 1985 in Hong Kong and will send to your for Memory. Of course, we also have the Jatropha Tree planted personally by Sam in our garden in 1997. It blooms many small red flowers everyday of the year.

Deepest Condolences

Dear Zweig Family,

My sympathies on the loss of your husband/father. If I am not mistaken, many years ago your family lived in my parent's (Mary and Tom Skoules) building on Virginia Avenue for a time. They thought very highly of all of you.

Dear Mrs. Zweig,

The warmest thoughts of sympathy go out to you. Thought that lie within the heart too deep for words to say. And, may it make the loss you feel less difficult to bear knowing you have many friends who sympathize & care.

May God bless you & guide you through the very difficult time.

Sincerely,

Dear Mrs. Zweig,

Kris, Danielle and I would like to send our deepest condolences for the passing of your husband. We are Tula Arvanitis' family, her daughter, granddaughter and son-in-law (just so you know who is sending this). I hope that you are able to find peace in the fact that your husband will no longer be in any pain and can now rest in peace. From everything that my mother has told me, he was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed. I hope that you can fill yourself with the love and companionship of your friends and family in this hard time. You are such an amazing woman and I really do hope that you find peace within and are able to go on living with the great sense of spirit that filled both you and your husbands lives. A spirit like that should never die, and through you, your husbands spirit will continue to live. My husband, daugher and I wish you well, and Danielle hopes to be able to spend time with you again sometime in the future.

Sincerely,

Paulette, Kris and Danielle Krueger

To Dr. Zweig's family:

Sam meant a great deal to all who knew him. His technical and business acumen were exceeded only by his compassion for friends and family. He will be missed by all of us.

May the Lord comfort you and all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

With fond love, appreciation and condolences to all of you,

James Peterson

Sam was at first my customer, then my friend, my employer, very good friend, mentor, one of the most kind decent men I'll ever know. His courtesy and kindness to me changed my life.

Sam was a great technical thinker as well as businessman. However, he was also a good listener and respected the opinions of people of any age. I enjoyed my many conversations with him.

He will be greatly missed.

Sam Zweig was warm and intellegent uncle who I wished I knew better. We were separated by too many miles. I learned so much about my family from my very brief encounters with Uncle Sam. Even though he was the youngest son, he was regarded as the sage of our family. I am particularly appreciative of his warm hospitality to my brother Arnold when he was attending graduate school and recently to Arnold's son David. His departure is indeed a great loss for the whole Zweig family.
