Toporek, Sam 90, Holocaust survivor, beloved husband of the late Renay and the late Ala; cherished father of Mimi (Gerald) Brin and Helen (Sam) Borek; proud grandfather of Keith (Courtney) Brin, Dr. Michael (Dr. Jodi) Brin and Randy, Daniel and Ricki Borek; overjoyed great grandfather of Zachary, Sheridan, Hudson, Jacob and Arden Brin; treasured son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend of many. Funeral services were held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Magen David Adom, 3175 Commercial Avenue, Suite 101, Northbrook, IL 60062.
