Mirabelli, Sam F. "ShoSho" WWII Navy Veteran, beloved husband of Nancy nee Jasien), and the late Rosemary (nee Bilisko), devoted son of the late Joseph and Mary (nee Rizzo), loving father of Joseph J., Lisa (Roger) Vogelsanger, and Mark (Danielle), dear grandfather of Sydney, Sara, James, Kevin and Amy Vogelsanger, and David and Rebecca Mirabelli, good friend of Stuart Paves, brother-in-law of Dorothy Staken, fond brother of the late Rosie DeLuca, Josephine Mancuso, Theresa Wrenn, Russell Mirabelli, Jenny Kalebic and Frances Kallas, also many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, 2 to 9 p.m. at Modell Funeral Home, 12641 W. 143rd St., Homer Glen, where funeral service will be held Monday, 10:30 a.m. Interment private. 708-301-3595.

Our sincere condolences to the family of Sam Mirabelli. He and his family left a lasting legacy to the community of Justice, IL. Sam is a part of our history and will be surely missed.

To The Mirabelli Family; Although I didn't get to know Sam until the later years of his life, we had some good times together. At the Edelweiss outings and the Sprinkle Golf Tourneys, Sam was always fun to be around. I will miss him. My sincere condolences.
