Sam was one of the classiest men I have ever known. I admired and respected him. For all of us who shared in his life, we were greatly honored.

I was fortunate to work with Sam at the State Liquor Commission when I was a new attorney. He was a very kind mentor to me and a down to earth person. He always was looking out for the small business person and had a sense of compassion and fairness in how he treated people. The world was a better place for him, and I am a better person having known him and received his kindness. My condolences to his entire family.
